About Me

Hello, I'm called Gittie! I am a wife with two adult children, and a proud grandmother to a sweet girl born in June 2022, and to adorable twingirls born in November 2023. Since 2015 I have been retired.

I love the sea, especially the rough charm of the North Sea. My favourite seasons are autumn / winter and Christmas time with its joyful spirit.

Sadly my husband passed away in February 2025 after a long severe illness. He is dearly missed. I have cut back swapping for the time being.

Hobbies and Interests

I'm interested in books, photography and anything related to writing and paper crafting.

I like watching murder mystery films like Inspector Barnaby/Midsomer Murders, Death in Paradise, Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, Sherlock Holmes (the old series) and spooky movies on Halloween.

I collect postcards and ATCs. My favourite subjects include: Maps, city views, trams, typical houses of your country, shop windows, books and bookstores, libraries, lighthouses, wind- and watermills, post offices and mailboxes, snow and snowmen, hats, parasols, rain and umbrellas, the nature and seasons.

I love Halloween, Christmas and Christmas markets, Snoopy, Pettersson & Findus, Atelier Nouvelles Images, art and illustrations ..... and surprises!
